Local Groups

In the corridor of the hall past the toilets, is the village bookshare (not to be confused with the library books in the front hall, which are not part of the bookshare).  You can donate books in good condition by placing them on the shelves here, and take a book away with you to borrow or keep, whenever the hall is open for any purpose.  There is no need or ability to log what books you donated or took, and you don’t need a library card, as this is not the library.   Garry Anstee (g.y.anstee [use the at symbol] gmail.com 01306711907) mans the bookshare Mondays and Weds from 10:10 to 12:15,

​HIITSTEP is the multi-award winning HIIT workout that only requires you and a STEP.

The covid vaccination service at the hall re-starts Thursday 25th April, running various different days mainly selected from within Friday Saturday and Sunday (fitting around existing hall bookings).

“Taking the Lead” is our dog training club that meets Monday mornings,  and Wednesday evenings from 5:30 at Beare Green Village Hall; it is Kennel Club listed, and is run by Ruth Dunning FCPDT.  

Classes available include a Puppy Foundation Course, Puppy/Beginner and Intermediate/Adult Companion Obedience and Advanced Companion Obedience.

The local kitting group meets every second and fourth Monday from 11am for knitting fun, coffee and a chat. Experienced knitters and beginners welcome.

Sound bath are no longer using the hall

Volunteers are sought for village litter picking, on the first Thursday of each month starting at 12:00 at the village hall. Simple professional litter picking-up mechanical sticks (to avoid bending) and bags provided. Let’s take pride in our village!
