Beare Green Community Association (BGCA)'s Community Cinema “Merebank Movies” shows a film on the second Saturday of each month. Doors open 7:00, the film starts 7:30, and there is a short interval half way through.  Refreshments are available.

£5 entry for all.  No need to book, nor any means to do so - we have never had to turn anyone away as we have 80 seats. 

Sat 13th April : "One Life" (The true story of Sir Nicholas 'Nicky' Winton, a young London broker who, in the months leading up to World War II, rescued 669 predominantly Jewish children).

The Fun Day will be at and adjacent to the village hall on Saturday 6th July 2024, 12:00 to 16:00.  There will be a dog show 2 to 3pm and a free bouncy castle plus the amazing Nelson Porter and his band.  

The AGM will be Friday 12th July at 6:30

Our jumble sale on Saturday 28th Sep 2024 is open to the public from 13:00 to 15:00, entry 50p, at Beare Green Village Hall, Merebank, RH5 4RD.  Donations in the morning of Saturday 28th September 2024 please 09:00 to 11:00; no furniture thanks, and no electrical items thanks.  

NOTE - we have sometimes ran past sales across a later time slot, 14:00 to 16:00.  Never again.  It really does now run from 13:00 to 15:00.  

The Christmas market will run from 12:00 to 16:00 on Saturday 7th December
